summery fruity pops

Make some yummy summer snacks minus the artificial dyes and scary sweeteners.

Need: popsicle molds (check out the Tovolo ones)

Preparation: Combine the fruit, herb/spice, juice and a dash of salt in a blender until smooth. Pour into the molds and freeze for at least 6 hours

Honeydew-Basil: 4 cups honeydew melon cubes + ¼ cup chopped fresh basil + ½ organic frozen lemonade concentrate

Pineapple-Cinnamon: 3 cups pineapple chunks + ½ teaspoon cinnamon + ¼ cup fresh orange juice

Mango-Parsley: 1 ripe mango + ½ cup chopped parsley

Experiment with varied combinations. Almost any fruit will do. For the simplest of them all squeeze the juice of oranges directly into the molds until they fill up and freeze.
